The Cradle dance performance, which inspired Slovenian audience as a part of this year’s 20th Exodos Festival, continues to conquer the world stages in China. The first international contemporary dance co-production between China and Central and Eastern European countries (C-CEEC) is starting a three-week tour in major Chinese cities. Between 15th September and 5th October young dancers together with choreographer Gregor Luštek, assistant choreographer and traditional Chinese dance professor Tao Hao, and producer and organizer of the tour Nataša Zavolovšek will perform six performances in 5 major Chinese cities: Beijing, Xian, Hangzhou, and Shanghai. The performance held on 23rd September will have a special audience 17 cultural ministers who are visting China as part of the C-CEEC Culture Ministers’ meeting.
Apart from the Cradle, Slovenian artists Gregor Luštek and Žigan Kranjčan will also execute two professional dance workshops for students of contemporary dance in the cities of Xian and Hangzhou. Gregor Luštek and Rosana Hribar will also present their performance 16, created in the production of Dance Theatre Ljubljana.
